Hi Guys,

Do you think it is legal if I use parts of Blizzard images (i.e. maps from World of Warcraft) as loading screens in my campaign with sufficient copyright note?

I mean something like:
http://www.wowwiki.com/File:WorldMap-Elwynn.jpg
most definitely cropped and resized.

Since it's taking a Blizzard resource and using it in another of Blizzard's games I don't think they'll care. Also, since you're not rebranding it as not theirs nor making money off of it, nothing would happen.

Although technically illegal, Blizzard has not been known to prosecute people taking content from other Blizzard games and putting it in WC3/SC2 maps. In fact they have often promoted maps doing such for both WC3 and SC2.
