Okay, so back in WC3 if you made a trigger that enabled black mask, it would stay enabled the entire game and once a unit's vision of an area disappeared, the black mask came back.
I tried this in SC2 and the black mask will not come back. I use doors and such for insides of buildings that move units to the corner of the map (where all the insides are) and it looks
sloppy when you can scroll to the top left and still see them. Any ideas?

Unlike WarCraft III, you can resize the playfield with the scripting natives provided and not mess up the mini-map (the mini-map will resize). Limit the view inside a house to only the house and limit the view outside the house to all areas except the areas reserved for the inside of houses.

This was used in the bonus mission in the campaign to change the research station after Raynor destroyed the fusion core. There were two different versions of the research station on left and right sides of the map with the view area being restricted to only one of them at any time.

I know that, but I'd rather (if possible) be able to keep the black mask throughout the map, because throughout the map you go through different towns where the houses are in different areas than others, and eventually you go through a copy of the initial town but it is destroyed. Kinda hoped to be able to hide the original so you can't scroll over and see it perfectly okay. Cosmetic issues only, but they really enhance the gameplay. Thanks
