I have no idea what this is, but it's getting on my nerves. It may be something with the site, maybe something with my computer/browser..

Every few minutes of so I get this popup. It doesn't matter where I am on this site or what I'm doing. How can I get rid of it?

You might have a virus, I had once a virus which constantly linked me to some dumb site. Anyway, try to scan computer.

Dunno why it's linking you to that file though. .DBM files are some sort of database file format, according to a quick google search >__>

If it is service, then go to Start -> Run -> type "msconfig" -> Go to "Services" tab and then you could search this bidvertiser, if you find it and it is checked, then uncheck it. If it isn't there, it must something else then.

To dispel a few misunderstandings in this thread:

• Bidvertiser is an advertising service similar to AdSense, and this appears to be a malfunction in it.
• There is no reason to believe this is a virus, especially since a virus would presumably download files without asking you.

This isn't "other pages on the internet", and users were suggesting it was a virus that had already infected the Hawkwing's computer.

As I said, you could try this, if that service is in there, then you can uncheck it and problem solved.
