Best way to program AI to use custom Techre?

i have made new races for a map on warcraft III. What is the best way to get the AI to build these custom buildings and troops, as well as use the new heroes abilities and research the new upgrades? Do i use the AI editor? Triggers?

AI editor is the easiest way.

Look for tutorials for the AI editor and you should be good to go.
