I have the 1.26a patch and have never upgraded past it. I'm just wondering which patch is the most stable after 1.26.

I agree with DracoL1ch but would like to give a more detailed answer:

If you are just playing single player definitely stick with 1.26.

If you don't have reforged, I think don't upgrade to 1.3+ because there is almost no benefit except some new natives for triggers.

If you have reforged either play with reforged or stick with your current W3.

Not like I'm gonna actually patch or anything. I won't be able to play standard DotA or LoD if I do that ;)
I'm really just curious what is the best patch after 1.26a
Best patch after 1.26a? 1.27 then =)

1.26 if you want to play proper multiplayer on GameRanger and so on.
1.31.1 if all you wanna do is play Campaign and Singleplayer (Due to the improved Widescreen, UI and 144Hz support)
Reforged (Classic) if you want to deal with a whole lot of issues with custom game lobbies not working properly and have several disconnects due to people not disabling their Reforged graphics
