The maximum hight is 128. So if you want to have only a picture in your signature it is
anything x 128
But some people like to have tabs in their siganture for whatever reasons. Then the hight should not be bigger then 100 pixel.

A sig I made is around 85, but the tab bottom part still clips. :/

Personally, since the max size of THW is pretty limiting to begin with, I'd reccomend just rolling with an image as big as you can get away with.
If you need an example of how big that is, all sigs I've made on Hive are downscaled to fit that exact format.
