Yes, but that is because most of the doodads share a skin. This one is a unique model and should have a better skin.

Hey, I tried to import it just now after reading your post, and the model seemed to work on my game in the editor at least.
What file path did you use for the bear rug's texture asset in your asset manager?

All I did was was delete "war3mapImported\" as usual. Why, is there a catch?

Strange, that is also what I did. I wonder if I accidentally did something more that I did not think about. I probably saved the map first before ever looking at the model. Is there any chance you looked at the model first before you deleted "war3mapImported\" ?

I always do, but when it didn't work, I actually ended up rebuilding the model itself under a new file with the previous mesh and texture. Normally this technique works if the file may be corrupted, but still, it did not work.
