I would like to see Hiveworkshop can make with these fun webpages. Give it a try and show us what you created.

Create pictures using Flame Painter http://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/flame/#top and link it here.
Create music with http://www.inudge.net/ and link it here.
Suggest http://dagobah.net/flash/nudge.swf if you want the it centered instead of being on the right side of the screen.

This is how a Flame Painter picture could look like:
Scull_by_Bormental_(28.02.2010).jpg

wolf_by_Doodler_(04.03.2010).jpg

Flameburst_by_Asmodian_Sandra_(04.03.2010).jpg

This is how a iNudge Song could sound like (somewhat limited, but still cool):
http://inudge.net/#/5p95
http://inudge.net/#/leve
http://inudge.net/#9vix9

Both of them takes some getting used to.
But if done properly you can make some really cool stuff.

FaTaL, well make sure you have Java then like everyone else. I don't see the problem.

This is what I created in Flame Painter.

Wanted to add more stuff, and a decent background, but then I rage quitted because of the fact that you can only "UNDO" once.

Not fond of iNudge so this is what I created in Flame Paint, I have no idea where I was going with this picture.

Nice songs you guys, and patiently waiting for Orcnet and TheKurt009 to post their pictures.

Necroing for this

http://earslap.com/projectslab/otomata/

Pretty cool synth setup, of course it looks like the others at first glance but start adding in cells and you'll notice it's drastically different.

Simple shapes like this:
http://earslap.com/projectslab/otomata/?q=8q7t6o5d3v20140887736m5c3h2s1i0r

Become beautiful combinations of movement and sound.

It's fairly simple how it works:
Click a block to add a cell
Click a cell that's been added to change it's direction (the arrow)
Hit the start button to start the movement

-If they hit a wall they reverse and make a sound based on where they hit
-If they hit each other they turn

Have fun!

for some reason my tiles often go the wrong way
(I know there are arrows on them which indicate the direction but they were all pointing upwards and half of them went left and right)

also the same pattern sounds different every time you start it
I don't know if it is supposed to be like that but I don't like it

and sometimes tiles stay although everything is cleared
I really don't know how the programmer made it that such a bug could happen

Yeah the program does seem a little buggy, I've seen people bug it so that blocks constantly rotate in the same little area somehow. But for the going the wrong way, you sure that's not just the result of them bouncing off each other? They turn clockwise I believe it is when 2 blocks collide instead of a full rotation.

But yeah about every time you start it, when you stop it it doesn't reset but instead just stops everything as they are, it's fairly difficult to pause it at the same time you started it (if it remains the same, if you venture away from symmetry you can get constantly evolving samples).
