I'm sure this'll make me sound like such an amateur.
Whenever I make a custom map, the in-game UI randomizes during play-testing. By this I mean that it randomly selects one of the four default in-game uis (human, orc, undead or night-elf.) It never bothered me before, but in the in-game campaigns, the orc UI never popped up when I was playing as Arthas, and I've seen custom maps with static UIs, so is there some way I can turn off the random UI feature. I tried fiddling with the player properties, but that didn't really get me anywhere.
------
Problem solved. I had to search under Scenario - Force Properties. I had to check off the "Use Custom Forces" box. That unlocked the box below it; "Fixed Player Settings." That solved the problem nicely.
