Base Order ID?

Hi

I am a n00b - started fiddling with world editor a week or two ago. Have a question regarding a spell I'm trying to make.

I have made a custom ability based off "slow", and now I want to make another one that will be very similar to it. So I copied and pasted then made some changes. Now when I order my custom hero to use either of them, both get executed. This is because they both have the same base order ID, right?

So I think all I have to do is change the order ID for the second one - but there's no field in "slow" that lets me specify it!

Do all spells/abilities (are they the same thing?) have a base order ID? And if so, how do I change it if it's not an available field in the GUI?

I could just base the second one on another spell similar to slow, but i think basing them both on the same spell would be a better way to do it. (Right?)

any help would be appreciated.

Yeah an unit cannot have two copies of the same base spell and you can't change the order, with a few exceptions, most notably Channel, which you could use to trigger dummy casters to cast the slow spell for you

I suppose you could also use Bloodlust and reverse the effect, that's probably easier to do if you're getting started
