Balencing units

hi i need some help balencing my units in a td im making atm. i mean how much gold each tower should cost basically, can any1 give some advice on how to do this?

hmm.. I would look at the effect of the tower.. Like how many units a single tower can kill. and make a starting price at one unit and multiply the next units cost with their effect of killing

You could also use my old formulae sheet I posted to get the spreadsheet. Replace my numbers with yours and it will come out with a good rough idea of the power of each tower. Then make it into proportion of how powerful you think it should be and it should all be good from there. It may take a lot of time and effort, but it is repayed by a huge amount of reward as it also serves as a means of keeping track of all of your changes and allows you to see a lot of information about a lot of towers\creeps at a glance or a search.
