Attack with space.

Hi, is it possible for me to make players press "Space" then they will just make an attack animation and take hp of the unit which is directly forward him.

I don't think there is an event that detects the press of the space bar. You can use the arrows to make this "fake" attack or just an ability that uses a shortcut.

Dark Invasion II uses this system, but dunno which key it was.. but the key shouldn't be the problem.. I think all keys are usable, but only via JASS, GUI only allows the basic keys like the arrowkeys or ESC..

But there's also some spacebar action ingame, it's for the warning or info parts.. where you press space and your cam switches to the area that is under attack, or where some important action was, some time ago, maybe you can make use of this?!

You can only directly catch the arrow keys and space. You can catch letter hotkeys with dummy abilities, but I'm not sure how you would go about catching space.

Could someone make a sample map for me, and isnt there a way to clear all the Camera changes while pressing space?

Wow, I never thought about that. It makes so much sense now.

So if I hotkeyed wasd keys to dummy abilities and placed them in an inactive spellbook then I could trigger them to do a wasd movement system... wow there are endless possibilities using this technique.

umm, can anyone make a simple trigger for me on a map and also that dont make your cam change when pressing space? or is there an advanced setting that makes if you press another button instead of space that would happen?
