attach a model to a portrait

Hello
here i my problem:
I need a way to attach a model to a portrait. But, it must be for only one unit, so, if two unit uses the same model, i can decide that only one of them will have a different portrait. Tell me, do i need a spell? do i need a trigger? do i need to use two different model? Do i need to completly change the model (i hope no)?

Try creating two seperate units that use the same model file, but then will bbe able to be used for different portraits.

Lol, if you want a portrait for a specific model, just add '_portrait.mdx' to the end of it.
eg. Footman.mdx = Footman_portrait.mdx
