Hello Friends,

I'm here to recruit some people to join forces and make a nice monster catch MMORPG (outside of warcraft).

A new mmorpg of taming monsters with the theme Space monsters, but many new mechanics and features.


ASTRO TAMERS mmorpg

Story : In a far away future, humans developed a technology to travel around galaxy and found many different types of life.
So they started to play with it, taming it and using it to protect then against other creatures and other humans.

Every player have a one TANK, this is a evolutive tank, where you need to upgrade it, so you can progress with the game.

*Every tank have many different parts, Tires, Fuel Tank, Slots, Cannons and so on, some parts are used in the open world, other parts are usefull in battles.
In the open world, monsters can attack your tank, traps can damage your tank, it consumes fuel to walk around in the world.



TANK PARTS :
  • Engine - Inscrease the Tank Health points
  • Tires - Inscrease movement of the Tank, allow to walk in some floors without taking damage.
  • Fuel Tank - Inscrease the ammount of energy of your Tank
  • Memory - Slots of monsters you can have in your Tank
  • Tool Box - Slots of items you can carry in your Tank
  • Arm - Responsible for destroy traps and disarm traps inside boxes,
  • Cannon - Shoot damage items, healling items, capturing items, can destroy obstacles, each level inscrease the effect of the shoting items
  • Sensor - Inscrease the range of detection of monsters and the sensibility for traps and hidden treasures
  • Flag - guild cosmetic item

  • You need to buy parts and take it to the mechanics in the base, so they can upgrade your tank.
  • The tank collors, appearance and so on, are customizable.
  • Tanks take damage from traps, from monsters, from some kind of floors.
  • Tanks when move, consume energy points



MONSTERS :

There are 11 main elements, monster have resist to this elements (defense) and some preferences (attack):
  • Monster preference and attack/skill element deal bonus damage.
  • Resistance reduce damage from the elements.
  • Monsters are not categorized in element families
  • Monsters can have 0 to 2 evolutions
  • Monsters can equip 2 item each

Monsters attributes :


Main
Health / Energy
Attack / Defense
Intelect / Special Defense
Dexterity / Resist

Secondary
Critical C. / Evasion C. / Critical Damage

Every monster have unique resists to every element and unique stats.

Energy have a different mechanic :
Monster have slots of energy and level of slots.
There are 4 level of skills, skills can cost 0 to 3 slots.
Slots of skills depend on the monster Energy.
Energy do not rescover in battle, unless specific Items are used.

Monster have active and passive skills, aswell as family traits.

BATTLES:
  • 3v3
  • Turn battles (Like final fantasy) - the first monster to attack is determined by the Speed
  • player have 15 seconds (PVP) or any time (Open World) - to decide what his monster will do.
  • If nothing is choose the monster randomly do something.
  • Monsters can Attack or Defend, depending on the monster some tend to defend, some tend to attack, some tend to retreat.
  • Defending reduces incoming damage in 65%.
  • Tanks have their own bar, it Starts full and then it fill with the time of battle, Tanks bar is for miscelanous commands.
  • The commands are using items or return monsters and run away.
  • There are healling, damaging, capture and status items, so have to choose wisely.

Also thinking in a party type battle with 3+ players.
Or some kind of dungeon for multiplayers cleaning with bosses.


WORLD:
It's an open world game.
The world can impact your Tank, some areas floors deal damage to your tank

  • Water - 1 damage per movement
  • Mud - 3 damage per movement
and so on...

There are traps and holes around the World that can deal damage to your tank
  • Level 1 - 40 damage
  • Level 2 - 60 damage
and so on...

Aso some monsters and bosses can attack your Tank before the battle starts, so if the tank have low HP, you can be defeated before the battle even begin.
So taking care of your Tank and carefully choosing your next move in the world.
