Hey all, this is going to be my first map so I get stuck with minute problems. :) Could you please help me ?

I managed to solve my original problem. Right now though, I need a way to temporarily forbid movement to a unit - setting its movement speed to 0 doesn't works.

Anyway, storing units is like this, I will provide a GUI version for you and it needs a type of a variable "Unit" it depends on you on what will you name it.

  • <Name of the Trigger>
    • Events
      • Time - Every 1 seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Unit Group - Pick every unit of (Unit-Type of (Your Unit)) and do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • Set Unit_Variable = Picked Unit
          • Unit - Set Unit_Variable 's current movement speed to 0.00
Note:Setting the movement speed of a unit is found in the Unit section.
I hope you understand. Just like you said, you know on how to store units for later use. Reply to me if you want more info about that or another set of triggers.

  • Unit - Order Unit to stop
  • Events
    • Unit - A unit is issued an order targeting a point
  • Conditions
    • (Issued order) equal to Order(move)
    • (Issued order) equal to Order(attackmove), or however you type it
  • Actions
    • Unit - Order Unit to stop
Hope this works. When you want it to stop disable the trigger.
