Hello everybody. I would like to implement some AI into my map, Scourging of Azeroth, so that open spots and the optional races chosen would be controlled by the computer. In this way, full houses are not necessary and optional races not chosen will not create an uncessecary rigged balance of power.

Yet, my basic questions revolve around these: How does the AI Editor work? What are it's capabilities and limitations? What are some suggestions to one new at using the AI Editor?

Thank you very much

As long as your map is basically an 'alternate melee' and you don't have any complex triggered systems that the AI needs to use - the AI Editor will more than suit your needs.

There a handful of tutorials on how it works over in the tutorial section, but it's fairly intuitive, the hardest bit is knowing to export and re-import your 'unit data' (from the object editor) into the AI Editor.

Now while both of the above explain (together) how to import AI and use the editor, neither gives a particularly amazing example of how to do a good job of it/detailed examples. You'll have to work with trial and error and general experimentation, but it's worth it ;)
