I just made this for myself, might be useful to others.

You can edit the fields how the attributes give bonuses and the starting bonuses, aswell. On the second page you can see how the hero would look at other levels just copy & paste the row with the attributes (colum d till q) into colum a till n in the 2nd row).

Version 2

Note: The Value Colum is quite trivial but yeah..

Heroes are usually not about physical stats but about abilities. A hero can have a lot more stats than all others but still be weak if he has useless abilities. On the other hand you can have a glass cannon which will die in a few hits but is over powered due to strong abilities.

Does it factor in the stacking nature of agility and strength for combat survival? Each point of armor adds 6% more health (standard melee constants) for combat damage (not spell damage which ignores armor). As such a hero which balances strength and agility will be tougher than strength or agility heroes alone (against attack damage).

very true.

I should have said this tool is to balance stats in particular.

I suggest sticking to the original game as close as possible anyway, regarding stats and abilities, since the original game is well balanced. So if your special abilities, don't get too different from an original ability, it’s easier to work out the stats, and balance the entire game. However the game must be set up the same way for this.. so if you have a DOTA map/ or some Hero Duel maps for example, auras and AoE spells might not be equally good.. But if you have a way to revaluate those abilities you can use the original as a good guide line again.

To answer your question: you can set B1 as any level as you want, and see for yourself how the HP and armor skyrocket or not.
and agility heroes (of the original Warcraft) like blade master and demon hunter will skyrocket in DPS above Level 10. So the Level cap at 10 is for a good reason. Level 20 BM has 112 DPS!

you can. thats the whole point of this thing.

Colum AK till AR.

Edited two minor mistakes and yeah ordered the random heroes to their fitting race imho. Also moved it to Dropbox so you don't need to log into a google account to download it.

Oh yeah just remembered stuff like this belongs in the Lab - sorry.
