There's nothing to indicate you can't do that. Except I don't think it would be a good idea, because it would lag for people joining (most likely).

Like the guy above said, you need to portforward port 6112 (both UDP and TCP) in order to host BNet games. Try http://portforward.com/ - find your modem and see if you find WarCraft III in the list that comes after (with programs and games), and there should be a guide. There's not a guide for every modem and router in the world there, but a lot of them.
