A Book with spells

I am new to mapmaking as i have said before, and I am trying to create an item. This items purpose to is too be on the boss, and the boss will drop it whne he dies. I want the item to be a book that i can click in my inventory and it would come up with a list of spells. I have the spells ready for the book, but i dont know how to give it the option to open or add the spells. I would greatly appreciate it if i recieved Help. Thank you
