CREEPS IN FORESTWALK


Creeps in Forestwalk is an altered melee map based on Blizzard's Forestwalk Melee Map. This contains mainly of the three four creeps living in the vast forest of Lordaeron, Ashenvale, and Barrens: the Forest Trolls, Satyres, Harpy and Ogres. See how they work together in a battle against humans, orcs, undead, and nightelves.

FOREST BEAST
The forest beast is a master of pinning down enemies. He can learn Evasion, Life Drain, Howl of Terror, and War Stomp. Attacks land Units

A hero adept at killing enemy units. Learns Command Aura, Ensnare, Envenomed Weapons, and Finger of Death. Attacks land and air units

Boulder Tower

Hostile Hut - Primary structure, used to train Troll Worker and receive gathered resources. Can be upgraded to Hall and then Great Hall to enable the production of additional types of structures and units.
Farm - Provides food, which increases the maximum number of units that can be trained.
Altar of Hostility - Summons Heroes. Revives slain Heroes.
Hostile Armory - Primary troop production building. Trains Troll Warrior and Ranger. Also contains the Sharp Weapon, Sharp Eye and Armor upgrades.
Hostile Tent of Demolishers - Trains Contraption and Rock Golem. Also contains upgrades.
Abode of Hostility - Trains Harpy, Satyr Trickster and Satyr Shadow Dancer. |nAlso contains spell upgrades for Trains Harpy, Satyr Trickster and Satyr Shadow Dancer.
Hostile Tent of Magic - Creates a shop with purchasable items. The items available depend upon what level of upgrade your Town Hall has (Town Hall, Keep, or Castle) and which buildings you have.
Boulder Tower - Fires massive boulders that deal splash damage. Good at destroying ground units. Immune to magic.

Four words.

Neat, simple and (very) Warcraftish.
Something that I usually expect from you.

Although there seems to be a weird bug when choosing to play as Neutral Hostile, "Play as a Hostile Unit" should be a Dialog Title and not a Dialog Button.

Dialog Button is clickable and should have an action. Dialog Title is.. well.. a Dialog's Title.

Anyway, it seems to be balance(but I need to play it a few more time to be certain) although I would prefer more Buildings and Building Requirements and a couple more units. Anything else should be on the PM I sent you.


Its a fresh idea and with a little more polishing and improvement should become a very special Altered Melee.

This is not a bug, this is a mistake which is now taken cared of. Sorry.

Played It. It Was Nice

Terrain: 10/10
Cant say much it's blizard terrain and the terrain on blizzard maps are very good so i have to say 10/10

Units 9/10
Good and i like the ideas of them. I liked especially the satyr shadowmancer with like master training and 500 mp the raised dead was good :DD There were a little bit of tool tips that were wrong but other than that it was good

Buildings 9/10
same like units they were good and i am not sure if there is some tool tip problems. But yeah.

Gameplay 10/10
The creeps were good i won againts the enemy team lol. It was me vs a orc and human computer.I won with tons and tons of shadowmacers and warriors because they make corpses. This race isn't too op and isn't too weak so the stability was good.

Overall It was good 38/40 Nice Job

I believe there was a different mod back in the day "When creeps attack". It changed the four races and replaced them with creep ones. It was a conversion mod.
This seems similar, I wonder if the buildings have animations?(birth, work, death, etc).
It does seem to be complete, however. You did include 4 heroes, upgrades, items, and the essential units. Mechanics are the same as far as I see.
Although I'm not impressed because it seems you didn't use any custom resources, nowadays it's dull to not use anything, there's SO much available. :)
I didn't play it yet, I probably will later on, I just wanted to point out that you should think of making different race/faction, this one has been done before a lot of times.
*Perhaps make nerubians? I'd love to see that outcome.

humans, orcs, undead, and nigntelves --Not need (much tired. it is necessary that the opponents were also creeps!
