Well,for the system from link i posted.
At first,i used floating text,but since warcraft can't support more than 100 floating texts at a time i had to find another solution. I'll make it so that above each unit there's a dummy unit with roman numbers as model which will represent unit's level.

Much work? That's weird...those are 2D and in single color...

Okay, here they are.
They're white, but you can easily colour them with the Object Editor.
You also have to give them a flying height.
