Indeed, it would need a hell lot more of work on it. And maybe it's just me, but how can you shop if you don't have money?

I don't know how to say this without discouraging you, so I'll just say it as it is: it's crap.
There are no triggers, the objects are standard (...literally), the terrain hasn't been changed, there's no way to win, there are items, but you don't have/gain money, there are villagers, but killing them is no use.

Rejected, obviously.
