I know you don't want to continue the Arkain series (maybe because of the so much work needed for it) but what if you just make one campaign summarizing all that you'd want to present in all future books?
This way, less repetitive gameplay, more variety and stuff. And, of course, it's better than to leave it to die.
Hello Red Crusader, I just had a quick question, what is a good way to make a particular structure or location well defended against both air and land attacks, I've been told that in addition to towers the place must be protected by strong units that can attack both land and air enemies, any other advice you can add to this?
One that likes Armies of Exigo, the underrated game? Except for the cheesy story (Reign of Chaos, anyone?), the gameplay is somewhat a complicated Brood War. I think it's a good game especially when it has HoMM styled two layered terrain.
So I have a few things that i'd like to get your opinion on....basically what would be some way to set the tone of the battle for this type of "Gardon"-like Villian, I was thinking it happens in the rain while there are thunderstrike all around, how would you advise me in this matter
What do you think about the idea of the boss getting divine shield-like immunity in exchange for sacrificing one of its units? I just tested it and it works, although I'm thinking of changing it to more of a roar type of abilty
What about this idea? A modified doom spell.....basically you sacrifice a unit from your forces and in turn bring in a greater demon to serve you.

Hero ability 1 - Soul Burn, Hero ability 2 - modified Spirits Beasts (summons 2 voidwalkers, or other powerful demons), Hero ability 3 - Vampiric Aura, Ultimate - No name yet, a modified command aura which reduces the damage dealt by the enemy's attacks by 50%. A modified Elune's grace ability which reduces the damage taken from spells and magic attacks will also be included.
Me and and a buddy might attempt to create a campaign, and I wanted to PM you regarding some advice, anyway how to make a hero very hard to kill as well as extremely deadly besides giving him lots of hp/hp regeneration or a large amount of armor, in other words what combination of abilities would you suggest giving a "boss" hero unit....I am very good at making custom abilities also....
