Ah, I don't know about replacing unit types in certain buildings. I guess you could do it the lame way, the units being replaced after they are trained or something like when they enter a specific region or via a trigger that runs each sec and turns all rangers to crossbowmen or something. Gonna check.

I mean, there must be a way to do so, else the Empire campaign would not be in that pack. I may even have seen the other campaigns also uploaded once though I do not remember if that was really the case.
I think they are in the ork files

Yeah, we need an Ork to hack those :D

Just gonna search for an .ork extractor. Hope it goes well.

Also, no test map button...

Lol, got a crash on a test map, on load. Great...

Apparently it was because I used a trigger that said unit morph on an elf to crossbowman xD

Actually that trigger works. I think it had something to do with the weird cliffs I put then. I can't explain it otherwise.
However, I need to find out how to mass change units since you have to select the one you want on the map.
Maybe there are unit groups or something like that?

I... honestly don't know.

I was asking in general :D not you particularly. More like a spoken thought.
Can't find it, damn it.

Yay! Found the change all unit types anywhere/location to any type. It's in the Entity Commands triggers folder, not in Units.

Ugh, seems to be a pain indeed.
They are adding spells to units via the techtree in player properties. No idea how because when you click or whatever in the weapon field of those units you cannot add anything new...

Wait, so is it possible to make Crossbowmen trainable in normal Barracks? I know I could alter their training time to something balanced, but I don't think I could make them trainable in a different building.

Sadly, no :\ which is bizarre to say the least. But I guess they have their own building in the neutral section that you could add to a player but won't be built; has to be preplaced or created via triggers.

Some spells are customizable though.

I may actually have had those files back in the day...

I love how vague all those abilities are ingame.
