I'd say copyrighting his models is the easier way to go. That way he can release his map to whoever wants to play it, and it will be banned from play on Blizzards servers, which means they can't steal his stuff.

As for copyrighting my models, a lot of it is under pre-existing IPs (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings) and I can't afford to copyright even one of them (Being 22 and looking after my Grandma)

Hey, agreed x3, you make quality stuff, it would really suck to lose talented guys like you to a damn half-assed update, i really think you should at least finish all of your near-completed projects, no way you're letting all that work go to shit aren't you? don't let them make you do that, maybe you can finish them in an outdated editor and distribute them for older versions (1.26-1.29 maybe?), lots of people are currently playing these versions because of the reforged fiasco.

PD: i already finished the custom abilities on my map and i will now start the terraining part, our boy Tryndamere will be featured on a map anyway!, fuck this eula thing, it won't stop me from uploading it here and sharing it to be played on older versions
