You have probably seen it but there's a function to check camera panning in-editor so I normally use that to check if the camera panning feels natural, then I try to find a good angle that captures the most important things as initial angle. The characters needs to be visible. Try to think of movies and how they do their camera work, then try to copy some of it. I'm by no means very good at cinematics so I'm sure other people would be able to give better advice than me.
