Even though I own a copy of the Unreal Anthology DVD, I have never installed UT2004 nor Unreal II. Only Unreal+NaPali and UT99 GOTY.

Too bad the original S3TC textures for UT99 by Epic were never included in this DVD release. It also misses the fourth Bonus Pack iirc. Last, too bad the installer for the games is done so very badly for this DVD release.

In UT99, I still have not defeated Xan yet.

I like the Unreal Engine for Unreal and UT99 GOTY.

Unreal II has a fantastic story and great locations but as a shooter it is a bit stodgy -- I'd highly recommend it nontheless. UT2004 is still worth playing.

Luckily, I also have an old GOTYE of UT99 with the S3TC textures (though I never really noticed the difference), and as for BP4... it's always to hand on my backup hard drive.

Out of the box, S3TC works with the S3 Metal driver only. To have S3TC support in UT99 with D3D and/or OpenGL, please use one of these drivers:
