Hahah thanks, I've always been a fan of your avatars also, ever since you've been using the Disciples II potraits.

Those were deleted as a result of a hard disk failure. I'll have to either find them again or crop my own from the game :D

Ah crap, that sucks. Playing through the game and cropping portraits sounds tedious, especially since I'm not the biggest fan of Disciples 2 gameplay haha.

Ah, no. I'll just place all units in the editor and crop the pictures from them. You can see their portraits :D

Ohh lmao I forgot that game had a map editor. It's not too bad in that case!

Why don't you like the Disciples II gameplay? What about Heroes of Might and Magic's?

Hm I forgot what exactly bothered me, but when I played it I didn't enjoy it. Think enemies kept spamming units, castles were hard to attack, some really strong enemy units in campaign, I like to lvl up a group and play safe with them but it seemed really hard to do on Disciples.. Heroes of Might and Magic's was a lot better.

Well, actually Disciples II had a difficulty setting something which HoM&M III for instance didn't as it was progressive. Newer HoM&M games have difficulty settings.
You could make your own maps in that way, like D&D, a group of heroes etc.

I don't remember exactly what difficulty I was playing on, but I think I recall a really strong unit in enemy castle who would paralyse my units when attacking, think even at times my entire party would end up paralysed.. Wasn't fun to play against.

You were not supposed to destroy the enemy's main castle. That was a bonus if you were strong enough in later levels.

Ah it's been a couple years since I played, I don't remember if it warned me not to attack the castles or not.. I'm fine with having to figure things out on my own but I'm not a fan of getting overly punished on a slow progression game.. Wastes a lot of time and effort.. :p

There's save-load game you know :p

Yeah I guess I had to save/load a lot more than I was doing. But Idk, I just didn't like the game all that much, wasn't too interested in the story either so I never even got far.
