Heyya! I have Guitar Rig yup. But if you don't have a good sound drive you'll need a external device for that. Iirc, you had bought one in these past months though, so GR would help you out. My own guitar isn't a very quality one so my pickups could give better sound too. I really don't remember what presets I used but maybe I can check it now.

Seems like I have to re setup GR again since I didn't, after the re formatting of my laptop. I cant see the presets I'll check again once I do it.

Hey, well, I'm linking my guitar through Focusrite and then I'm setting the Focusrite in the program for input and output.

That's the way. The sound I got from most of the presets were very digital sounding and unnatural. When I shredded they started scrambling together and the sound was a disaster, so I searched through many of them to get at least a bit of a decent sound.

Oh, so it's as far as the program can go?
Yeah, that's what I did too. I hope I'll be able to find some on the net too.
Reverb is important for solo and so is delay but the latter is optional.

Most of them sound good, maybe it is because of the jack I was using or not enough mixing, or some other stuff, but my distortions never did give a satisfying tone :(
