Asari have a special kind of bisexuality; they can love their own kind (who have no different genders) and all kinds of gender from other races.
Not sure what to call Jane Shepard, though. Of course, lesbian would seem the most logical at first, but considering the speciality of Asari genders, that is of course wrong - as Razosh pointed out.
Then again, what do you call a sexuality when it's towards a race with only one gender?

Not really but when I think about it Polysexuality would most likely be the right term, poly is Latin for several. Asari are recorded to have romantic interest for at least male, female and Asari gendered individual.

Someone who is attracted to a single gender only is called monosexual.
Two genders is called disexual.
And three or more would be polysexual.

Hanar are jellyfish, jellyfish are asexual. Asari mate with them too. Does that fit into your polysexuality?

As said Poly means 3+ so you can pile on as many genders as you want it will still be polysexual, regardless of whether they mate with Mary from Ireland or Bongo the cat.

I wonder if they could, theoretically, mate with non-intelligent organisms (animals, insects, plants...). It would be disgusting and everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves, but you get my point, right? I mean, they can mate with asexual jellyifsh!

Alright several points I need to argue with there, first who says that humans are intelligent, us. We are measuring intellect and saying that we are the only intellect specie, which seems strange. But don't take my word for it, listen to Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Richard Dawkins. In fact to further their conversation, there are several theories that both elephants and dolphins have extensive languages just like humans and that they are in fact more complicated than ours as the two can converse in sound waves human ears can't hear.

Second, a Asari producing offspring with a feline for example is completely possible. And if you had paid attention you'd know that Asari mating doesn't involve physical contact at all, only mental.

I am aware that it doesn't require any form of physical contact for them to procreate. My point was exactly that this, as disgusting as it is, means that they could procreate with everything and everyone.
