Hating an ethnic group or race, or national or cultural identity based on a bad minority's actions (e.g. hating Germans because of Nazis, hating Chinese because of Commies) is stupid and ignorant. So both sides were wrong

Also, don't forget the Commies edited their history book too. It was the Kuomintang -- Nationalist China army (trivia: with some German help, and of course, the Chinese people) who fought with Japanese army, while the Commies sat back and enjoy.
