So how did the Illithids not see that? Are the characters currently still in their prisons and faking it,or are they breaking their way out and fighting the Illithids?

@WhiteFang sent a shadowy assassin -- Draug (but characters in-universe don't know his name yet). As one of my characters Chee Wah got kicked into a metallic bull (can enter but not out), the shadow also sneaked in.

@WhiteFang sent some demons to distract the Illithids, while Chee Wah screams to make the Illithids back. The Illithids open the door and... bam! Freedom!

I think I'm a bit too late to join. Because, these Illithids are distracted by WhiteFang's demons,so why would they transfer my character in a cell that's just been opened with you and the shadow battling your way out.

How about you in another scenario? Like finding yourself in the midst of nowhere full of shadows, then some Drows come and take you?

Or just have your character in the same cell from the beginning?

Is it necessary for me to loose memory after that?

Yep, the drows are evil dark elves.

Nope, you still retain your memory. But you can make your character in amnesia if you want to.

But those from the dungeon can remember their backstories but they don't know why they end up there

It doesn't matter if you're mentioned or not, you can just join anytime as long as it's logical and "appropriate"

You may still begin in another scenario if you wish

Since you didn't start in the dungeon it isn't required for you to have lost your memory.

Oh, he's a soldier named "Lance-a-lot". Period. Apart from that I dunno

I'll start my story with my character and 2 other soldiers. We were finding our way to our castle in a dark forest after a mission was done. On our way, we hear unpleasing noises. When my character turned back,his 2 soldiers was gone. He saw something....or someone approaching him.

He backed up slowly and unsheathed his sword with readiness. Something touched him from behind. He turned back again and a blurry figure cast a spell on him and he was knocked out.

He slowly regained consciousness and saw chains at his hands. He was also being pulled by unknown dark people. When he was half awake,he look at every direction and realized he was in a cell. With no memories at all,he tried to break the chains, but failed.

He saw something shiny at his neck.. He pulled the thing off with all his might to reach it concerning the chains at his hands and it got off.He saw a writing "Fletcher Birch" on the object. At that moment,he remembered what he was doing before he was in the cell with rotten corpses.--How about this?
