If you don't mind doing a little testing, what is the longest name you can have an still see it?
That's interesting, I have a widescreen monitor and a very old thinkpad that both had no issue with seeing the map. I though for sure it was an issue of resolution.
If the name is "BtT SFp Glacial Bays.w3x" do you still have the issue?
How many characters shorter was the map name, and what size monitor do you have?

Okay. To tell the truth, this will be my first conversion map without owning the game :C
So I would like you to tell me something.
1) Zerg's starting units and structures
2) Terran's
3) Protoss'
4) Starting Resources
5) How many mineral can a Drone/SCV/Probe can carry?
6) How about vespene gas?
