I don't play WOW so I wouldn't know, but a friend of mine prefers this game's terrain as it is more 'natural' compared to SC1's terrain. Personally I don't care, it's gonna become a scarred place eventually anyways.
I don't find anything natural looking in WoW everything is cartoonish, like it was in warcraft 3. Starcraft used to be more serious but Sc2 followed his brother.
