Power! Anyway, I highly recommend you to make your city have the same architecture and color as the walls you have here. Combined with your monument, cliffs and lush forests around, it will look perfect and natural and fit your race way better then white marble walls.

My city does have walls a very similar color the the forest however the buildings are granite stone from the mountains in which we live. Much of the architecture is also wooded rather than stone.
