Hmm... The only difference I can see is in your pic it's calm water, while mine is not (it's ocean). The water ripple/deformation's probably what causing the metallic-look, while the reflection intensity & transparency seem to be pretty much equal. Or maybe mine's is even more transparent (you can see objects underwater even from quite afar).
But then of course it still looks better in many ways cz it's AAA quality water while mine's just a free water with a few tweaks. Heck in fact it was actually made for anime-style game, which luckily turns out pretty good even for realistic game.
Btw, I'm a lot inspired from Ark: Survival Evolved. In there the water is even more metallic, but it looks just gorgeous and a lot of other people admired it too. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/oatzWBS9mr0/maxresdefault.jpg
Hmm.. never knew an island has calm water. I might consider that in the future. But even so, at the moment my skill is far from enough to create my own water or to make significant improvement to the current water.
