ok, so mechanical units have orange energy bars (fuel) with abilities that cost money to generate orange energy bars (fuel) which grants vehicles 100% movement speed (must be moving to spend energy)
attacking units will have behaviors that both A ask if you have enough ammo and B if you don't then what -- which is nothing. B is easy. turns out A is hard. but anyways, every attack big and small will cost you minerals (Munitions) and if you don't have the cash then your units weapon won't fire.
Healing units and attacking/non attacking units alike will have self healing spells that cost vespene (medical Supplies) which helps you heal your people.
the fourth resource is still up for debate, as to ''supplies'' singular or ''cash'' I haven't really decided. any thoughts on what the 4th resource should be?
Other resources: so you've got money/currency?
Energy? Um, shields, armours, speed etc. Although these aren't really resources.
What about, food, water, vaccines, antibiotics ? All sorts of materials for building/creating stuff.
maybe ''medical supplies'' can be changed to something else, name wise, like medical equipment or clinic goods, and make the 4th resource ''supplies''...
