I figured since I was being bidden to make a series of medieval models, I'd go Warhammer-style and make a Reikland series of guys - I've got a functioning skeleton for the crossbowman and now all I need to do is render the mesh
 
@Frostfaust Much as I wanted to use a different shape, every attempt at the new face ended up making him look like a burn-victim :[

I went back out of frustration and the reason I stuck with the knight's original face is that I found it remarkably easy to animate

A bit of a sacrifice on the altar of pragmatism, but I was getting a lot of smoke up the ass to publish the model x_x
 
Absolutly understandable, it does not take away from the Model at all - Amazing Work.

Now, please take this additional smoke up your ass to finish the Halberdier, the Swordman and the Arbalester.
