After the deployment phase is over, other armies (ennemy, ally or own) can rejoin battles which can lead to massive fights. (individual armies are otherwise limited to 8 regiments each)
Lag-wise, the performances are ok for now, but I fear for 12 players games when a lot of battles occur at the same time. The number of unit per regiment can be reduced at the start of the game though (very easily with how it's trigged)
@Lord_Marrowgrath
Well, I don't think I'll ever make a consistant AI. I think that for a game like that it would be way too complicated.
But if you like to kill AI garrisons/armies, sure you can play alone ^^
Keep in my mind that this was designed to be played by a lot of players (in contrast with real TTW in which you can only play with one budy, and the turns are tedious...). If you want a campaign, play the original game ^^
