Yeah you should be able to extract the code from the map, though it will be in jass format.
Not sure what would cause the error in the first place though.

Try open with WEX instead of JNGP.

@Chaosy I was using JNGP, and I did try to open it with WEX but still like that, I will try what battleborn said.
