the map is ONLY the system + interface, so there is nothing i can do but command the project to be a good map. ¬¬ this is obsiously

i can see this working, putting the camera angle on 0y 0x and then changing the z as you run. Id like to see a mario version of this =) Is it going to be like an arcade based game?

I strongly advise doing this project in StarCraft II rather than Warcraft 3. StarCraft II is far better suited for what you are after in nearly every way. For example you can map any hotkey to triggers in Starcraft II and also get mouse click positions where as you can only map arrows and ESC in Warcraft III and get clicks towards trackables.

Additionally, the mod system would allow for better support of custom content.

but this map is boring,no custom models,3 skills? rolf

posting the link to slashcraft is kindof because he thinks it's a related subject, but the map also says it is a protected map, so i hardly see how linking to it would help him develop a 2d map.

i guess what he could try doing is recruit whoever did make that map, but i think that sounds farfetched. still, if i were him i'd probably post in there anyways and simply post a link to this thread. it wouldn't hurt.
