Players were shuffled in random order. See the statistic table above? After first tournament is done, players will be ranked depending on their statistic. We might use rating system in next tournaments. Besides that, its double elimination tournament, so if you lose you will have chance to play against weaker opponent in loser bracket.
ultrapro - you have to log on in next 3-4 hours to play your match against norman. he is online right now and waiting. If you wont come you will get deflose.
tournament is not over yet! I have won only 1 final game in winner bracket, this round is best of 3. Even if i win second time and pass this final round i will have to match loser bracket's winner in super final in another best of 3 match!
Btw ladder system seems to be bad. You should connect a rating system, e.g. Elo rating system. The current one stimulates pros to face noobs, what makes avalanche effect.
We cant filter more here, otherwise we would have no opponents. Anyway, all participants are Ice Escape pros.
Though your idea is not bad, but would would be a bit complicated for now and also we don't know if we already need such a system.
For now our system seems to be acceptable. But if time comes, that we have many users that are registered in our statistic table, and many games running we might change our opinion and take usage of a more balanced system.
So first we let it as it is. We are way too busy with introducing tournament and all new stuff atm, sorry.

Sorry that we could not finish our 2x2 advanced tournament as fast as we wanted and also for canceling the 1x1 Pro Tournament #2.
Reason for that is that we have server problems for almost 2 weeks now. The issue might be fixed soon, so you can prepare already for next hardcore shizzle!
