I am honestly out of ideas, so this would be my latest WIP and possibly my final entry if I can't come up with anything else to do with it, I still get the feeling something's missing, though...

The skulls in the background should be scaled down as far as I'm concerned.

And screw you for going for the mentality angle, that was going to be my first choice.

Keiji, i think that L2love has a great suggestion. try to use that blood.. and also, some scratches on the walls, or drawing or anything that might make it look creepier wouldn't be bad either

well im not very satsified with it...so if you can give any sugestions,any at all,it would be very helpful,
one thing that i really dislike is the guy on the left,i cant find any other model to replace it with that the same position,and i think its an wow rip too...not sure
momentarily ill keep him as a place holder

well yea,its inspired by dead space,but i didn't play any of them,i saw some trailers and really liked the idea of that one guy being completely alone on a ship filled with creatures that want to tear him limb from limb,and him falling into dementia and what not

probably i'll play the games,not a very big horror fan,but the story sounds wicked

I'm assuming he meant too much in general, as in clusterfuck.
And I would agree to that, so far I just see gore with neither rhyme nor reason.

Haphazard bloodstains and torture equipment won't quite cut it as far as a horror theme goes as far as I'm concerned.

Cause i do not wana show much progress so i basicly kept it with this. If it is not approved as WIP i will change it. About the fact we use that butcher girl model i didnt even know others used it xD but hey its a horror team so i supose its logical.

Yeah I know that is pretty formal, but that's what the WiP idea is all about. Right now this looks like a unit/model test and is not really a terraining WiP

Zooming in on units is not such a good idea because it makes it looks bad and perhaps you should change the camera angle but thats just my opinion. Besides that i see more you could improve but right on the moment im tired and not willing to point it all out.

Kinda too much reminds of previous contest theme, the Battlefields... it's not exactly horrific or nightmareish... most of gamers (And I'm sure 90% of all Hivers here can be called gamers) aren't scared of zombies...

Those are outdated and not scary too... you know, anything that can be just bashed with an axe or shot with a gun doesn't really count as "scary" acording to gamer standarts.
