Some of my thoughts:
-a full screen wouldn't be bad. Now it's only in the upper left corner, at least in Firefox
-there's no real need for the name Arsenic to appear
-how do you fight if you have no bullets left?
-there are places in the second level (the one with the white floor) where the hero can't go even though it's nothing visible there to block the way
-there is no music during the levels
-more doodads and or level detail wouldn't hurt
-there should be more weapons and to find them somewhere (in boxes or as loot from enemy units)

It's a nice idea, but it's nothing special yet. It doesn't even have a story.

One again, the weapon switching is cool, overall great controls just the animation can use some touches. I believe the level you will be updating as well. I am not sure if you added more dudes to shoot at but that's what I guessed. I am never a fan of tutorials and neither do I expect players to know what to do without reading the manual but I suggest you add some interface to emphasis on the controls more, like mouse wheel with interface of attack and free stances? :D

1.Every level should have one special music,except the boss levels.
2.I was on the secret boss level,and he had too much health.
So my ammo was not enough to kill him.
So its better to reduce his health ,or add more ammo.
3.Fix the bugs and glitches. :ogre_hurrhurr:
My rating for the ver. BETA 5.1 is 3/5,because of some bugs ,and because of some glitches. :at:

Feedback:-

A: I am still trying to fix it. That will be fixed, Hopefully in the next update. :D

A: Bigger? Please tell me more.

A: It was intentionally so that it can show the effect of gaining Damage from Enemy.

To Suggestions:

1.Every level should have one special music,except the boss levels.

A: Yes, it shall be done! :D

2.I was on the secret boss level,and he had too much health.

A: Ok, I will edit it. More Ammo, Reduce his health.

Man, i forgot to say one thing,and have know that i have something forgot,but i have not remember it while making the threader.
So to add one bug on the BETA 5.1 story:
While i shoting the crates that cant be destroyed,i have make it somehow,that it enters in the wall.xD
EDIT:2.about that i will fast upload a video in a 7zip file.
EDIT1:2.About that bug,i change my mind i will not upload the video,because i record it some seconds,and it becomes 110mb.
So all u have to do is to let him kill u,and while he is killing u,the player is getting little bigger.
Or i have maybe fail,and thats not a bug ,its the animation,but im not sure.
 

-Terraning:
1. Currently u have to edit just the terrain,so i will show u why:
a)On the end of level 1 ,the wall is too close to the door.
So its hard to move trough that.
b)Something is blocking me from entering level 2 on the stairs.

-Tips to improve the game:
1.Little missions would be not bad to add on the levels.
a)Something like that:

  • Escort some people.
  • Kill all enemies.
  • Defend something.
  • ...




My rating for the ver. BETA 5.2 is still 3/5,because of the terrain,and the gameplay. :at:

hmm. i can't say anything much about the gameplay yet, i looked into it, i think it still looks quite raw. so i just make suggestion for that main screen :3

  • how about centering the game screen? why put it on the top left of the browser?

  • i really love that title! pretty neat design! how about some more effect on it? you know, some fancy stuff like fading and glowing light.

  • i really love the custom music :3
    but why not repeat it? i mean, the music stop after the duration ended. would be cool if it keep playing over and over.

  • i think this one is not implemented yet, but certainly need option menu to disable music perhaps? :3

  • that "press enter" word. how about make it looks fading then glowing then fading again? you know, some kind of fancy animation on that would be more cooler! and i think it looks weird that it have "l" between the "press" and "enter" word.

i will make more comment after the game have more content. good luck with your game rex!

Update: Beta V5.4 complete.

It is officialy available for download.

What's new?
-Slow Motion: When you are severely damaged, there will be an icon at screen. Press the Space bar. This will give players some time to escape or kill the enemies before they kill you.
-New Ambient Music
-Accumalate Power: Notice a small bar below the HP bar? That's you power bar. Once it reaches to max, you will be able to do more heavy damage punch for a certain time period. After that, the bar will go back to zero, and you can start accumulating them by punching more.

Future update (5.5)
-Improve sound effects
-Add weapon purchase system( Still designing...)
-Add more abilities ( Any suggesstion?)

I played the game and completed it. I only had 1 bug which I encountered though by messing around.

I used Stencyl back then but now, I'm using Java for some serious game development. I do have an old account in the official site of Stencyl so you can PM me if you're interested checking out my games that's made in Stencyl on my account.

For my idea, I think scavenging supplies like bullets from a dead enemy.

Guys, Beta 5.5 is here!

What's new?
-New Variety of Firearms!
-Upgrade your Firearms
-Added New Sound Effects!
-Added a new Grenade Launcher!: To use it, have your rifle ready, press and hold shift and left click to fire the grenade! Remember to stay far from the blast radius.

Future update (5.6)
-Improve sound effects(always)
-Add all sub-weapons
-Improve interface
-Anymore? Any opinions?

- adding configurable keys would be nice. Or at least the possibility to use movement keys. Might attract more beta testers.
- title screen looks very nice - much of an improvement over v5.4's placeholder :thumbs_up:
- I trust black text with weapon description is not definitive
- Current in-game music is annoying imho (very repetitive). Not sure it is the effect desired right at the beginning of a game. Might drive off some players.

I can not test gameplay mechanics because of the keyboard layout
I also may not be able to fully enjoy the game, because my computer is not that powerful.

I understand graphics are more or less placeholders here.
Hope you will be as successful with your game as the guys who made this one, back in ye olde days
