Game Formerly Known as LoaP Power Ultimate, LoaP Ascension 6.0 was the Sequel of LoaP Power Ultimate 50K

This LoaP was created as a Hybrid form of LoaP bringing both the Original LoaP Experience and Atmosphere but also adding in traditional RPG aspects to grow and ascend your hero, most of the original LoaP Jobs are in the game but with major renovations, but there are dozens of New Jobs built from the ground up to try out.

There are several trade centers, a casino for gambling, a carnival to play games and win prizes, and a expensive country club for the most wealthy of players to buy powerful items at, however the most powerful items can only be found in the most dangerous places...

Build your own Gang to take control of the city, Start a Zombie Pandemic, Cause a Alien Invasion, Start your own Samurai Dojo, Adventure into the Forest and Hunt Dangerous Bosses, Compete in the PvE and the PvP Arenas for Glory.. and Cash, Grow your Hero's Power and Ascend!

This Game provides a massive amount of hero customization.
First You pick the Model of your hero with the primary stat you want.
Secondly You visit the Spellshop and train up to 5 spells out of Dozens of Unique Spells, Every spell can be upgraded up to Level 4.
Examples of a few jobs in the game:
Governor:- Largest Auto-income, passes laws allowing other player jobs to unlock new upgrades and cause new events in the city, has a vault that can be robbed!
Mayor:- Receives a large Auto-income, attempts to persuade/bribe Assembly Members for approval rating, which allows him to Open Jail Cells and attempt to Steal Money from the city's funds.
Area 52:- Researches, eventually triggers a global zombie invasion, researches how to control the zombies and then finally researches out how to clean up the zombie hordes they released on the world.
Scientist:- Researches aliens causing a invasion, opens an advanced aircraft shop & Sets up citywide CO2 Recyclers, which permanently increases Hero experience gain for everyone in the game.
Doctor:- Kill germs for a small income, if your hero kills it you get more than if anything else kills it, sell powerful medical items to players and rescue injured civilians with the ambulance.
Druggy, Mafia, Police:- Similar to every LoaP, only enhanced. Kill each other, sell drugs, use your cash to purchase reinforcements, capture each-others control points.
Airforce:- Produces Helicopters, Transports Toxic Crates to Burn, protects the city from airborne attacks, gets promotions for defending the city successfully.
Monster Hunter:- Accept contracts for killing certain bosses, kill monsters anywhere you can find them for additional income, great for the RPG Enthusiast.
Farmer:- Take crops and drop them in the Silo, or feed them to the pigs.
Morgue:- Take the body and put it in the fire, simple part-time job for cash.
Miner:- You get your miners to "Mine" Crystal Formations within the mine and bring the Gems they drop to the Gem Shop.
Assassin:- Builds special units, Kills other player's hero's for income, can also do a Assassination Target Mission every couple minutes.
Blacksmith:- Combine materials with a forge to make powerful weapons and armor.
Army:- Small income, constantly attacked by mutants from the forest, fight the Terrorists in the Demolition Zone for additional income, gain promotions and a permanent pension for successfully defending the city from mutant attacks.
Terrorist:- Small automatic income, fight the Marines in the Demolition Zone for income, cause chaos around the city, destroy vital infrastructure and kill indiscriminately.
BurgerHut:- Combine different ingredients to make different burgers which increase stats for player heroes, take the trash out.
Navy:- Hunt down and destroy enemy ships and monstrous Kaiju's keeping the sea safe for other players, protect the cruise ship from attack, receives promotions for destroying pirate ships.
Ezco Corporation:- Research Robotics, Sell Weapons & Activate your company's brand new power station by successfully lobbying the governor.
Casino:- Persuade players to buy your Scratch off tickets or play your Slot Machines, you get money for every play or purchase, you can win or lose money, if they win, you lose money, Has a underground vault that must be protected.

Examples of some of the Heroes you can unlock by killing bosses, completing events and discovering secrets:
  • Nemesis "Zombie Hero": Summons hordes of zombies, also has poison ability's.
  • Alien "Alien Hero": Evolves into either a ranged or melee alien.
  • Fire archer: A skeleton archer hero, which is a serious pyromaniac.
  • Shadow Archer: Is what happens when a fire archer is consumed by the shadow.
  • Vampire: A vampire hero, leaches health from foes, summons minions.
  • Lich: A cold evil creature. Has strong summons, and a powerful shield.
  • Ninja: Stealthy, Quick & Crafty, utilizes poisons and speed boosts, specializes in quick light attacks.
  • Cyborg: A hero with serious brute force, fast attack speed and damage, has strong AOE's.
  • Holy Priest: A Priest with many powerful healing ability's, that are almost equally as deadly too.
  • Mutant: A Powerful Mutant, slows down its enemy's and destroys them with slow, powerful melee attacks.
  • Ascended: The Final End-Game Hero, can teleport anywhere in the map instantly, has powerful cult followers, hardest hero to unlock in the game, is practically a god but can still be defeated.

7.03 *Tiny Update*

7.02 *Small Hotfix*
  • Templar's now respawn.
  • Spawn Sacrifices for Final boss reduced from 60 to 16, you can now send adopted children (Purchased from malls) to the shrine yourself to add to the counter as a secondary way to trigger this boss event if needed.
  • Top Left shrine trigger can now only be activated once.
  • Gold Rewards for killing various monsters adjusted.
7.01 *Bug Hotfix*
  • Respawn Limiters added to Cave Vampires
  • Hellhounds are now Flameborn and have a new custom model.
  • Lord of Corruption Boss now uses a Necromancer model instead of an Infernal
7.0 *Map Expansion and Modernization*
  • Map Expanded In Every Direction
  • Major Expansion of the Forest, new bosses, new landscapes and new secrets.

  • Camera System removed from the game, thanks to blizzards new camera changes this system has become irrelevant.
6.711 *Minor Performance Patch*
  1. Added PvP Arena announcer dialog
  2. Reduced maximum zombies from 160 to 110
  3. All Area 52 Research now takes longer, the scientist research that spawns aliens now takes longer.
  4. Alien Hero ability's changed to reduce performance impact on the game, additional level to new spells and base alien hero stats and gains buffed.
6.710 *Minor Improvements Patch*
  1. Removed the Ripple effect from the staff of creation's award, also removed the requirement that your hero is a Reaper, you can be any hero to create it now.
  2. A minor rather moronic easter egg added for entertainment purposes, we now know why the cultists are insane
  3. The Ninja boss is no longer a hero, has received minor buffs.
  4. Ninja Hero Poison Strike replaced with Poison Bomb, ninja hero also now has passive shadow meld.
  5. The PvP Arena System has been completely redesigned from scratch, no more dialog boxes instead it now requires both hero's stand in the circles to begin the match, the pvp arena also now accepts pets.
  6. PvP Arena will also now auto dis-ally the other player and auto-really that player when the match is over.
6.79 *Stability Patch*
  1. Attacking the trees where the monster hunter infernal boss spawns, while he spawns, no longer causes the game to crash.
  2. The weather system and the events triggered every 5 minutes are now nested inside of the primary world income trigger, cutting down the reoccuring trigger que by 66%
  3. The 5 primary triggers that set up the game at the beginning have been merged into one, this appears to reduce that initial lagspike after initially starting the game.

6.78 *Tiny Bug Patch*
  1. Removed 3 things potentially involved with selection bug from game initialization
  2. Changed the way the peasants interact with your click also in an attempt to fix the rare selection bug
  3. Fixed one line of dialog text from peasant clicks
  4. Clicking a peasant no longer shows the speaking indicator if you are out of range.
6.77 *Bug Patch*
  1. Fixed an issue with the Ninja unlockable hero, also changed spawn location of the miniboss.
  2. Club NPC's no longer cost food and you no longer take control of a dancing peasant when purchasing a club.
  3. Dojo Samurais should now respawn one minute after dying
  4. Advanced Drug Barn should now transfer to the job holder correctly, Drug Runners are no longer automatically upgraded to Experienced Drug Runners.
  5. Experienced Drug Runners no longer have an attack, but have slightly increased health and movement speed.
  6. Black Bear pet is now a Polar Bear, Richman club elephant can no longer escape from a small gap on the bottom of his pen.
  7. Purifier Chaingun Tower no longer requires "Default String" to build
  8. Mutant Heart now correctly has a Reincarnation effect, however it only has 8 charges of it now.
  9. All Drugs now share a 4 Second Cooldown down from 8
6.76 *Bug Patch*
  1. Fixed a bug where newly purchased vehicles could get stuck
  2. Fixed a bug where the apartment realtor was selling a riderless horse instead of the apartment.
  3. Tons of additional fish now roam in shallow waters, many birds have shown up in the city and some coastal areas have grown additional seaweeds.
  4. Primary Stat gives 1 damage/stat again, didn't like how anything below 1 shows up as "0" by the wc3 client.

  5. Health per Strength reduced 25%.
  6. Experience gain range reduced from 4000 to 3000.
  7. Tank Descriptions improved slightly, all tanks now have a taunt ability.
6.74 *Minor Patch*
  1. You can now display a Situation Report from your Medical Bed in the Hospital.
  2. During the Alien Invasion Peasant and Street Cop Respawn rates are now slowed down substantially.
  3. Taxi "items" now have unique Icons for easy memorization
  4. All Boats and Warships have received rebalancing, new ability's and description improvements, a new high end Yacht for sea transport is now on sale.
  5. Overhaul of Ezco Units all of them Renamed and Rebalanced with New Ability's and their costs reduced substantially.
  6. Improvements to Gangs, Units now have unique ability's that makes each one more useful in different scenarios.
  7. Gang Minelayer Mines now scale with the global damage buff, mines are now targeted as ground units and have a permanent stealth ability.

  1. Secret/Unlockable Heroes have had their ability's updated to use the new ability hotkey scheme (Centering all hotkeys around wasd)
  2. Many memory leaks fixed, likely eliminating hundreds of leaks per hour especially in multiplayer.
  3. More improvements to the alien invasion system to prevent game instability.
  4. New Turret Model Added, multiple job based towers now use it.
  5. Waste Management Building now has a southern entrance.
  6. Town Police will now display a exclamation mark above their head when under attack or responding to a attack.
  7. Riot Random Event fixed, rioters where spawning in the wrong area.
  8. Cartels enforcers can now be trained., Cartel now builds harvesters and researches harvesting upgrades from the building in the harvesting room instead of the office.
  9. A player who isn't a member of the mafia can no longer turn in the crate of weapons.
  10. Impeaching the governor should no longer include computer players in the vote.
  11. Many units across the game have received new ability's and description updates
  12. Reviving at the Hospital now costs 5% of your total gold instead of $1500 and a Situation Report displays on revive.

  1. Police Station Reorganized a little, now only has two jail cells instead of three and a new street between the police HQ and the Dump has been built.

  4. Replaced most town police with "Street Cops" they will remain in towns control, they will respawn like peasants, killing them will give you a warrant.

  7. Peasants and Street Cops who spawn in certain locations like the middle of a lake will now die instantly and attempt to respawn in a decent location again.
  8. Assassin Auto-Income reduced from 10 to 5, is now only eligible for the 300% bounty bonus after holding the job for 2 minutes and can no longer purchase bounty's on other players, only collect them.
  9. You can no longer place a bounty on yourself.
  10. Many new street cops have been employed across the city and Town now also receives Unit Upgrades every 5 minutes, making various town units more capable of defending the city.
  11. Fixed a potential crash with a mutant hero ability
  12. Switched all internal wait times to game time instead of computer time, to hopefully improve multiplayer sync.
  13. Made more improvements to the alien invasion to spread out the performance impact of all of the units spawning in.
  14. Samurai Dojo NPC's should now respawn correctly.
  15. Hospital Germs Dislike Aircraft, and now evade 50% of attacks up from 33%.
  16. Casino Auto-Income increased from 40 to 55, Now only loses 50% the winnings when someone wins a scratch-off ticket.
  17. Every 5 Minutes the Casino Owner receives $1 to auto-income, FOR LIFE, even if they quit the casino they retain this income permanently.
6.71 *Minor Bug Patch*
  1. Taking police job no longer gives you control of the garbageman job circle
  2. Quitting the police job now correctly removes control of the northern station
  3. The Disgusting Egg from the spider boss is now targetable
  4. The second bank check tied to the Thief job also can only be picked up by Thief or Bank job holders
  5. "Theif" spelling error corrected, assassin quit text simplified to waste less of your screen.
  6. Killing your own hero should no longer trigger the popup saying bounty was awarded.
  7. Assassin Hero Killing income increased from $350 to $500, and Assassin can no longer assassinate himself.
  8. Minelayers also now receives a upgraded Explode spell based on the level of the damage upgrade and no longer receive armor upgrades.
  9. A redundant upgrade removed from gangs, the first zombie based upgrade renamed.
  10. Control Points now benefit from Upgrades
  11. If the Alien Mothership is alive after 3 minutes a broadcast will show up and will alert players via minimap that the mothership is at the park.
6.7 *Major Feature Update*
  1. Random Weather System added, there's a chance of different weather patterns every 2 minutes, there's a 50% chance of weather.
  2. Combined Camera Slider System added to the game, thanks to Sabe from The Hive Workshop, default camera distance is now 1900 instead of 2000.
  3. Player Bounty System added to the game, multiple discrete vendor locations across the map.
  4. New Commands -bounty hide/show -warrant hide/show will collapse or bring back the menu, (same menu for both commands)
  5. Added Warrant System, +1 Warrant for killing any Town, Passive Unit or Player Owned unit from a player who has Zero Warrants, killing another players hero without outstanding warrants is +5 warrants.
  6. Police Job now receives $100 Per Warrant when a Hero Purchases Bail from Jail, serving jail time and purchasing bail clears all outstanding warrants.
  7. Lawyer added to the Divorce Building, allows you to pay to clear your outstanding warrants at a price of 50 gold per warrant.
  8. Assassin Job Holder Receives 300% Bounty Reward
  9. Golem of Earth, Patient Zero, Mutated Wildlife now have models that work with classic wc3.
  10. Bank Checks can now only be picked up by the Bank or Thief job holders.
  11. The Hospital with the exception of the germ room now allows air travel.
  12. Increased the size of vehicles slightly
  13. Talking Villagers and Police will now turn towards your hero when speaking, also added Wc3's speaking unit indicator.
  14. Construction Buildings of Police/Mafia/Cartel are now frozen when they lose control of their respective control point.
  15. The South Entrance Defense Tower also gets frozen when their control point is lost, to prevent that tower from attacking the captured control point.
  16. Disco Floors now provide a very small experience gain every ten seconds to any hero standing on them
  17. There are now varying chances that the Thief will be caught and receive warrants for stealing job items and the tank heist.
  18. Mafia now has a 20% chance to receive warrants for receiving illegal weapon shipments.
  19. Cartel now has a 20% chance to receive warrants for rapid drug selloffs.
  20. Terrorist Killing the Cruise Ship now causes 60 Warrants to be issued for their arrest.

  43. Suicide Bomber Upgrade removed from Terrorist Job, the Explode Ability now scales with the Global Unit Damage Upgrades, has 100 levels, but can no longer benefit from global armor upgrades.
  44. Fixed multiple major point leaks dealing with zombie movement and re-spawning.
  45. Richmans Club Alcohol Vendors now have a very special and expensive offering.
  46. Drug Usage Cooldown reduced 15 seconds to 8 seconds.
  47. Removed two of the islands in the ocean.
  48. Navy Ships are now larger
  49. Every 20 Pirate Ship kills a Massive Kaiju spawns in the ocean, if the Navy kills it they receive $12,000, but beware losing your expensive ships, a fleet may be needed.
  50. Area 52 now gets $40 per zombie kill up from $25
  51. Army/Navy and Airforce now receive $10 job bonus for each zombie they kill, and $100 per alien killed, theres also a bonus for those job holders if they kill the alien queen.
  52. Alien Ships have new models, Royal Fighter/Heavy Cruiser/Heavy Fighter removed, there is only 3 classifications of alien ship now.
  53. Hovercraft has a new model, double the armor and its price reduced slightly.
  54. All Tanks now have passive damage reduction
  55. All Normal Tanks (not purifier or ezco) now have passive short-range attacks, depleted uranium rounds, and a AoE Cleave that fixes the intended splash damage.
  56. Samurai Item now requires you to challenge a Samurai in the Dojo, Fight a Samurai that spawns, and defeat it in order to spawn a Samurai Slave.
  57. The Alien Invasion now has two phases, the first phase is now a air/ship invasion, when the mothership is destroyed the ground invasion begins.
  58. Aliens and Alien Queen Buffed, aliens can now attack air units and will now act more similarly to zombies.
  59. Aliens now have a parasite ability, if it kills a unit that is infected it will create a face hugger, if that face hugger kills anything it will spawn a full Alien from its body.
  60. Scientist Job can now build alien ships directly once the alien ships have been researched.
  61. Army Humvee's are now much cheaper, but take much longer to build, cost 3 food instead of 1.
  62. Airforce has two new aircraft including a osprey which takes a long time to train and a powerful aircraft that is locked behind scientist research, other aircraft units rebalanced, the cobra no longer has a ground attack.
  63. Airforce now gets $250 per aircraft killed, and Alien/Hybrid flying unit kills now reward $850 per kill, also starts with an additional anti-air unit.
  64. The navy gets a similar copy of the army's spec ops soldier, called the Navy Seal, very slightly stronger but takes WAY longer to train and costs WAY more, because the navy does not specialize in ground troops.
  65. Scientist now receives a large sum of gold for a particular research.
  66. Alien Hydralisk form has a new passive ability that replaces the spiked carapace placeholder, all aliens now have passive spiked carapace as a bonus passive.
  67. Alien Heros have had their base stats buffed, ability re-balanced and now have additional levels to learn.

The solution that would benefit us the most, those people actually upgrading units, would be a +10 upgrader for everything and a +1 just in case we're running out of money. I don't exactly want a higher cost either since it feels like punishment for wanting to upgrade your units. The upgrades are already so costly that it's probably more cost efficient to just get your hero items or spend it elsewhere. The only reason why I am upgrading my units is because I don't need any more right now and I don't want to try to make the complex items at the shop below the arena. I've found ways around spending that money anyways.

A +10 upgrader is just a convenience or QOL thing, but I can also understand how it could make upgrading units faster and buff units in the first place. However, for +10 for damage, for example, that would be 600 * 10 = 6000 gold. That's quite a lot of gold that could go into items. No one actually harms each other anyways. It's very very rare for players to interact with each other as is.

My hope for the +10 upgrader is to buff units a bit, allow for faster gold acquisition, and speed up the game a lot more - especially the last part. I don't really remember how long it took, but maybe 5 to ten minutes to finally upgrade my units to maximum? It didn't really do much at the end game, but I had the money, so I wanted the respect that came with a fully upgraded army.

As far as I know, only one kraken spawned. The kraken just spawned and respawned supposedly. Sadly, I don't have the replay. We all got d/ced and I don't know if I bothered to save it.

It's hard to diagnose at this point because most crashes are coincidental and just caused by wc3 as a whole and not a map.

You're a legend. I'm sure this is going to enhance my playthrough of this game. I use units a lot for bosses. I killed the kraken and the game crashed, IIRC. You're a legend. I'm sure this is going to enhance my playthrough of this game. I use units a lot for bosses. I killed the kraken and the game crashed, IIRC. 6.5.1 released, you can upgrade your troops faster now.
Yeah if there's any repeat crashes on the same thing that would absolutely be a problem on my end, reforged broke a lot of things, like when the earth golems split was causing crashes and i had to remove it completely.

Update on the Former Chief of Police moving around the map. It appears as though it sometimes occurs with the Angry Ancients event. He also does appear to travel to other locations, as this time he ended up where the mutant crabs usually spawn at.

A couple exploits/balance issues.

Money Exploits
Taking out the garbage at BurgerHut with any unit that is not the main hero does not consume the garbage. They can just sit there patrolling for $400 every second.
Oil Driller Transports can mine samurai mines with the same effect from upgrades, resulting in huge amounts of gold after a bit of set up. You shouldn't be able to build mines or any drop off points over water.

Imbalance
Vampire's Vampiric Aura is a bit strong for how easy he is to get, letting you solo strong bosses very easily. Maybe lower the leech % to 2 or 3%/level capping off at 14 or 21%?

I inevitably have to police people trying to exploit by attacking them in game or taking up the burgerhut side job, since many know about them.

Thanks just fixed every one of those for the next patch.

Looked through the entire random event system and mutant crab area, couldn't find any reason why they would go there :vw_death:
I don't know if this will help but i deleted him and spawned a new one in his place, theres zero triggers in the game that effect his specific unit # so when i deleted him no triggers broke, which makes this issue even weirder.

That said if its not compatible for whatever reason there's a link to a older version of the map on the bottom of the map description above. "Pre-Reforged Version"
I have been booting it up lately on a second bnet account that does not have reforged access so it uses the old graphics but it does have the new loading screens and stuff, so idk what that is.

Honestly, I'm not for nerfing vampire's vampiric aura, but rather buffing other "starter" heroes or nerfing bosses or anything. These heroes are seriously just starter heroes you get during the first parts of the game to get better heroes like frost abom. I feel and fear that nerfing the vampiric aura will just slow the game again. The game is already so very slow. Most people will leave by an hour or two anyways, so I don't want to waste time grinding, but instead, complete my goal.

I'd rather have stronger units or other heroes to be stronger or anything. The problem I see with this is that buffing more heroes just increases the power gap between units and heroes. Buffing units would be a multi-step process anyways. Units cost more than heroes, cost more to upgrade and train, etc.

Nerfing the vampire will just add more steps to killing bosses, in my opinion. Maybe it'll mean another item to a strategy, which means running (flying) across the map or leveling up a little bit. Getting a new item could be five to ten minutes depending on where you are, how strong you are, etc. and leveling could take 30 minutes. Even five minutes, in my opinion, is so long considering most people leave in the first two hours. It's five or ten extra minutes every run and more possibility to mess up a run, wasting more time.

Or heck, just don't do anything. I've never found much wrong with the vampire since people just get heroes to go boss hunting for more items. These heroes are just there until we get to the "top tier" heroes. I'll tell you this: no one really uses the cow hero for very long, and that's not really because the vampire hero's better, but the cow hero isn't good enough.

I Included some minor buffs to the cow hero in the next patch, and I raised the initial health and health regen of starting heroes a little, well like 20% more health and like 150% more health regen and im nerfing some of the "starting" bosses in the forest a bit, at least just their base health/armor and damage.
All of that to help encourage earlier forest exploration.

Heroes need to be the focal point in a LoaP, so units need to be substantially weaker, the investment in your hero is the main part of the game, so I don't want peoples heroes being pwnt by a bunch of freshly trained units.

I'm thinking right now that there must be a lot of weak Damage ability's in the game that people rarely use, I'd love if someone would point out any "Useless" ability's so I can target them for improvement.

I don't think I've actually challenged end game bosses like death as a vampire yet. I usually go for frost abomination since it has chaos damage and does like, 1k damage compared to vampire. Although, I might be able to see that. I haven't seen anyone fight death as a vampire yet either. I've never had any problem with forest bosses, and I have some strats where I immediately kill the golem boss for its items and then go boss hunting from there. With that strat, it takes me about 2 hours to get to the phoenix boss. I've never bothered past that, but I'd reckon it might take another hour to get ascended if I knew what I was doing. The phoenix boss is extremely hard anyways, so I've just burnt out in it. I think I've seen people double team it and I've seen another person load up on thor's hammers and kept fighting it and dying until it dinally died. I don't really know what to think about the starting heroes' buffs, but I'd guess it would make the game faster.

For the units thing, I never use units for fighting bosses. I have seen though, units being killed by starting items. I've seen someone quit because they had mafia units killed in one shot and outranged by a ranger(?) hero. A beginning hero should definitely be killed by freshly trained units because the cost and the training of the units costs a lot more than respawning as a hero. It costs 1500 to respawn as a hero and actual good units cost about 300 or so. I can't remember the exact amount since it's been so long. Five units will not be able to kill a hero with a beginner weapon, so units, even in the early game, are underpowered. It's more cost effective to just upgrade your hero because heroes grow exponentially while units grow linearly. By the way, I'm not talking about a person with like, a few boss items. Any hero would easily kill an army with a few of those. I'm talking about items you can find in the first maybe, 30 minutes of a game? Even then, some jobs can give so much money that in the first 30 minutes of a game, units are already moot. In 30 minutes, it would be a miracle to have an army at all. Some incomes are small like the mafia, police, army, airforce, etc. that it would be more advantageous to just get another job if you want to boss kill. However, people don't use these jobs for their hero, but to use the units they can get. Any hero could kill the airforce's units easily, but the airforce's units are usually used to cheese or spawn kill certain bosses.

PvP will likely be an impossibility since they're so weak compared to heroes, but they can be used to spawn kill bosses for money. Units, heavily upgraded, can take a few of the forest bosses on their own and can spawn kill them for a good income source, which is great. As the game goes on, people should be able to have more money to work with and improve. The ascended hero's items and units cost a lot anyways. I've never used much money for my heroes anyways. Units for me are just for gaining more money, which I don't need. They're just an extra part of the game I like to play with. I have strats where I just buy some beginner units, beat some bosses, and never use them again. After that, I never use money. Other people buy their items, so units might be a good investment. I've been advocating for units becoming stronger for that reason, but also to expand their role as boss killers for a different playing experience. Even if they were to become strong enough to kill other heroes, no one would use them in that sense and no one would bother since it's always a better investment to upgrade your hero. I kind of want units to be used in a way to kill bosses so you have some people commanding an army to kill bosses, other people go solo and it's varied, but I'm not sure how that can be balanced. It could totally become a nightmare (or a blessing) to see a bunch of people killing others. I can totally see units becoming the new meta if they were buffed enough. Spells kill them though, and that's the only thing holding them back from killing bosses. So instead of some units spawn killing a boss for items which may be used, like the firelord boss, your hero has to travel across the map to get to that boss instead of automating it. If you die, it would just be going from the hospital at the bottom of the map to the top of the map, and instead of having the power to get these items automatically and improve, you're stuck traditionally killing the boss with your hero every time. It fills up the game time with mostly traveling instead of action and makes the game longer - especially if some of the mobs in the forest kill your helicopter.

find one that was made in or before patch 1.27a, the pre reforged were still 1.27b+ so it won't display on your game

yeah this doesnt seem to work too. i assume 1.27b+ means that it works on 1.27b right? well i had gone and installed a patch for 1.27b and the map still doesnt display. :/

no.

you said you had patch 1.27a, 1.27b+ means that every map made on patches AFTER 1.27a will not work on 1.27a, likewise, on 1.27b every map made AFTER patch 1.27b will not work on 1.27b, maybe it does but most likely won't.


This is because maps have editor versions they were made in, and wc3 probably won't load a map made by an editor after it's current version.



Check 1.27b release date, and then check versions of (this) map released on epicwar during the following months (not too long because it probably means 1.28) or before it.

I think I have exhausted all methods of playing this game. I've killed bosses with my hero and with units. I've expanded into the forest and conquered it. I've destroyed that same forest in another run. I've destroyed all the trees in the city as well. I've warred with other players as well. What do I do now? I've done everything but get ascended and that's a pain to get. By the time the first or second hour is upon us, only a couple of people are left.

I don't know what to do any more. No, I'm not going to RP.

By an hour or two, you become the riches person in the game and you gain a huge passive income that no one else can get. you get the most money with the least amount of labor. Also, is thief a full time job? I swear it says it's a part time but I can't get full time jobs with thief.

Just like I have exhausted my ideas for adding more to the map, all I can think of is polishing existing stuff, if anyone has ideas feel free to post them, if you saw a feature in a different map you think would work in this game, tell me about it and where you saw it so i can explore it.

I figure if I do another nerf to that job, it will be increasing upgrade cost and doubling build time of tankers, that way its still a great income, with a slow buildup and recovery if anyone attacks it.

He is not using the samurai mines exploit. The way people do mines is by upgrading the boats to max and making maybe 50+ boats. So many boats are made that they run into each other. Still, it works well. I think by 4 hours the mine is gone. By the one or two hour, they're the richest person in the game and I think get over 1k per minute or multiple 1000s per minute. I haven't played in a long while but it's better than my methods.

No one ever attacks the ships btw. I've never seen anyone go after those ships. No one fucks with each other anyways. It's a risk free way of getting a ton of money. Your ideas might work to make it less appealing but it's still essentially going to be the same amount of money (the most amount) without any work.

I am also requesting boats to be upgradeable. Boats are so bad that air units are better at ocean battling. They're a useless unit without upgrades and it would make sense for the Navy to have these upgrades. It would be a buff to that job no one takes and possibly make boats viable for the Kraken. If someone also uses boats, they could maybe use boats for killing the oil job and terrorist could use it to kill the cruise ship. Also it would make Osama less dangerous and possibly farmable.

No one ever buys houses either. I am sad I can only buy one. I can't even buy out the island any more wtf.

Where are samurai gold mines supposed to be placed? I've tried most blighted areas around the map and summoned blight with an item but it never works. I have found that I can place them on a ramp.

Also, Master of Elements does a unit pause or stun or something which can bug out -- at least on the flying frost hero. I was stuck in the air w/o the transform timer ticking down. I had to kill my hero with a pet.

I have another patch im doing finishing touches on, including giving the governor the ability to let players buy two houses, a fix for samurai gold mines, nerfs to oil driller and boats are effected by unit upgrades now along with some other minor stuff.

I have more suggestions:

1. Please add a way to name our pets. This just FEELS right. Like a command to rename my pet's hero name to something like Chloe.
2. Can you make it so mail man can use roboservants to deliver mail? It would definitely make the job way better. Also can you increase the hitbox or trigger or w/e or the mail delivery so you don't have to go inside the mailbox to deliver it? It makes delivering so much harder and would make the job better withing buffing it. If you must add something to this job, add that.
3. The mailman job has actually been broken for a while now. Your hero can't quit the job by going over it, so you need to use a pet to quit the job instead. If possible, I would like to be able to spawn in the extra mail though. Otherwise the job's not worth it.

To summarize for the mailman job, you go over the circle for the job and you have it until your pet goes over the circle again (not your hero). Then you go over to a house, right click the mailbox to walk into the small hitbox so you can deliver the mail, and return. The way I think it'd be better is if you can use your hero, pet, or servant robot to deliver the mail by walking next to the mailbox instead of in it.

I tend to drift off into my writing so I hope that summary is succinct and understandable.

1- Players/Employees (Probably difficult to implement)

Seeing that there are some jobs that seem to be of high caliber, I think it would be a good idea for other players to decide to work together, for example, in Area 52 the first player becomes the executive in charge of the organization, but another player can work there as a scientist of the organization, with lower pay but different work, such as investigating zombies, doing research that allows him to have more "control" in the organization or even after grabbing enough army (troops or zombies) can be done with the administration of the area, but it wouldn't be the only thing you could do, you can become a mad scientist and start making and/or improving your zombies, investigate the mutants in the forest and find secrets of these, and even smuggle items that shouldn't be in the hands of "civilians", but only with an authorization from the player in command of Area 52.
You just have to get somewhat creative with how to expand the work (Sometimes I would like Warcraft to support many more players, but I remember that my computer is a potato connected to a cable, and that makes me miss XD).

1. ADDED will be "-heroname" command, it will work on any hero owned by you.
2. I feel like this would offload the entire job to non-hero units, however I have increased the range for deliverys, some of the regions or hitboxes for those mailboxes where way too small like you said.

Hmm.. the way the game is already designed theres simply so many job adding sub-jobs to existing jobs would just be too much, if blizzard ever increased player count it may work, but 23 players is a lot already for a map this size. Plus at the moment each job "base" is sorta designed for being a "one" player location..

I have been trying to force jobs to interact with eachother, such as the control points in mafia/cartel/police, or the terrorist job that literally gets most of its money from attacking other players. Yet im informed players generally never attack eachother, so it seems perhaps further increasing rewards for doing so, is in order.

If I understand that, it could simply only be done if the map is done again. But if it would be good to have more interaction between jobs and increase the rewards for player battles, I think it might also suggest a few things.

More importance to the scientist:

Add technologies that allow to favor other groups (Police, Military, Terrorists, EZCO, Mafia, Air Force, Navy, Druggy) but with the problem of only choosing to favor one, that would make the profession more interesting, not only grab it to investigate everything and leave it, also add some improvements that help the doctor or other "unpopular" jobs.

Anchoring oil to the market:

We have a problem with the secondary work of extracting oil, Why not make it more "risky"?, let's face it, nobody attacks them as a player, they don't have to worry about creeps, slowly it's done in a huge snowball, so it would be best to add the risk of losing money.

I can assure you that Doctor is the most broken job if you know how to use it. IIRC I remember a friend of mine was using it to net 1k per 16 seconds. Still, money doesn't matter too much once you get to boss fighting strength.

Speaking of bosses. Is it possible to have no CD for the boss summoning statues if you don't have the materials? Straight up is it possible to code that. My greatest fear when bossing is not having the right materials, pressing the button, and then having to wait 2 minutes or worse for the elements, like, 5 minutes, to do anything else. It drives up my paranoia to the max that I get the servobots away, check my inventory, and then do it. I do this every time too.

Also IMO Ascended isn't really worth the time and effort. My best time would have been 2 hours and 30 minutes from the start with a relatively planned route and it's not really worth it for
A map-wide blink spell and five new units that cost a bunch of food, time to train, and gold.
If I'm racing, I can get frost abom in about an hour without any planning and interruptions. The frost abom is good enough to carry me through the rest of the bosses and decide my own fate. Most experienced people will get ascended in about 4 hours by what I've seen.

Btw Reaper can't even hit air. lol. It's pretty useless against boss killing. If there are items that allow you to attack air units, can you add that to their descriptions? That way at least the reaper hero can be used for boss killing. I think a few heroes can't hit air but I never encounter them since they're low tier heroes. By the end, frost abom, reaper, and the master of elements are the heroes you want to be.

I found a way to sell drugs to my own drug runner. It's not an exploit but it's useful as hell and makes the job better. You still need a hero to start selling to yourself. If possible, can you make it so the drug runners can sell to themselves without any heroes around? I have no idea if it could be done but it'd make getting gold for the druggy way easier.

Speaking of bosses. Is it possible to have no CD for the boss summoning statues if you don't have the materials? Straight up is it possible to code that. My greatest fear when bossing is not having the right materials, pressing the button, and then having to wait 2 minutes or worse for the elements, like, 5 minutes, to do anything else. It drives up my paranoia to the max that I get the servobots away, check my inventory, and then do it. I do this every time too.

Also IMO Ascended isn't really worth the time and effort. My best time would have been 2 hours and 30 minutes from the start with a relatively planned route and it's not really worth it for
A map-wide blink spell and five new units that cost a bunch of food, time to train, and gold.
If I'm racing, I can get frost abom in about an hour without any planning and interruptions. The frost abom is good enough to carry me through the rest of the bosses and decide my own fate. Most experienced people will get ascended in about 4 hours by what I've seen.

Btw Reaper can't even hit air. lol. It's pretty useless against boss killing. If there are items that allow you to attack air units, can you add that to their descriptions? That way at least the reaper hero can be used for boss killing. I think a few heroes can't hit air but I never encounter them since they're low tier heroes. By the end, frost abom, reaper, and the master of elements are the heroes you want to be.

I found a way to sell drugs to my own drug runner. It's not an exploit but it's useful as hell and makes the job better. You still need a hero to start selling to yourself. If possible, can you make it so the drug runners can sell to themselves without any heroes around? I have no idea if it could be done but it'd make getting gold for the druggy way easier.

Does not seem to be possible to do self-buying for drug runners, the spell that permits sales does not have any way to select the unit that actually has the spell, im assuming you use two drug runners to sell to eachother, that should work.

I gave reaper a second attack that targets only air, itll be invisible in his character info though, identical speed and damage to his main attack.

I fixed the boss spawn stones to reset if you don't have the correct items, also warn you.

I can barely remember the spells but I would guess universal blink and at least a stun spell.

By arena items you mean the blacksmith item combos?
Arena items only cost arena points.

Anyway I don't know why that is broken, im thinking about just adding in expensive combo items to replace the gold cost.
It's such a huge thing to fix I just haven't had the courage to tackle it.

I've honestly always hated the recipes because they cost so much time but it's probably worth it for power armor. It's about the best item in the game. The elements only give 220 stat boosts while PA gives 50 armor, +68 to all stats, 50 hp/s health regen, etc. It should rightfully be extremely expensive to get though. People usually rush these items and can get a bunch quickly because of that glitch, making it overpowered. That glitch plus planning could make bossing irrelevant.

btw the closest item to PA is poseidon's crown. I think it's also 50 armor, +45 stats or something and 2.5k hp increase. Other than that, the best item(s) are the dark energy, which takes like 10+ minutes to get after re-challenging, tut's staff (1k damage vs 850 for thor's hammer), and the elements for +220 all stats. And ofc that's without the obvious secret item. It takes a long time to get though imo but it floors all the other items. You can prevent people from getting that item if you know what to do though.

because you can spam them, unlike pets, i didn't increase it by much, a few hundred gold.

the glitch does not let you bypass the actual item requirements does it?

Edit: The changes I made just now seem to work, power armor was refunding gold even when created, incorrectly, now it does not.
Also, is thief a full time job? I swear it says it's a part time but I can't get full time jobs with thief.
Thief is a full time job now, has been for some time. In 6.6 I just buffed it's income a bit to make it more worth using.

ETA for 6.6 is now August (This Month), I won't let myself push it back further, but having a large patch note like I do now inspires me to keep working. Any last minute suggestions or bug reports would be gr8

Ill make another pass looking for variable leaks, I know some remain in the boss drops, I know those contribute to crashes, over long periods of time.
Ill probably release it this weekend.

Daethz I hate to say it but as a long time player of the map both Ascension and pre-ascension I found one right off the bat. In the spell shop I can see the holy and magic teacher but the dark (or unholy teacher can't really remember the name) isn't there even though when you go to it's corner you're person gets the arrow icon like the teacher is there. Other than that really like the model change to the dark mage (my person of choice to play as) amongst other changes.

Yes I play on reforged but I play on the classic setting. I checked just now making sure it was one classic and she is still not there.

I'm glad to hear and understand completely. I won't certainly rush you because your the one that can actually make a map as amazing as this so you're allowed to to have a few hiccups with a major release also on that note I just remembered another one involving your debug and fix commands i believe because ultimately I choose to use a different ranged hero and changed to the Holy Priest and he was invisible man literally. and used both commands and they didn't fix the problem. Just a heads up but at the same time feeling bad for adding to your work load. So good luck friend and I look forward to the bug fix for this map for these and any other bugs that are found.

No one ever does since they're pretty much useless except for carrying crap and a job that no one uses it for. I've never seen anyone ever spam it. I usually have 3 minimum, 8-10 maybe if I'm going for end gear. I see no reason to increase the gold since it got nerfed anyways.

It does not bypass any item requirements, only gold requirements. If you have the gold for power armor, you buy the recipe and you get the combine the items for no price.
I was thinking of this actually. There are MOBAs and other games that require item combinations, and what they do is make the end product item automatically combine with the other items. You could buy at any time and when you finally got the items, have them in your inventory, and they'll combine. That would solve the issue of this abuse.

HELL YEA. I have successfully fixed something everyone abuses, and thus, made the way forward in this game more narrow. Now more people will have to boss kill instead of doing different things for power. Hurrah for me!

Need some fixes.

Classic models are missing

Starting heroes don't have models
Slime boss doesn't have a model
Spitter zombies don't have models
the guy who sells weapons in richman's club has no model. Therefore, you can't buy the axe or red crystal sword.

Suggestions:
Buff terrorist by:
Kill any town unit, get 50 bucks (or more if "combatant" unit). So vehicles, citizens, soldiers, anything. The more things to kill the faster the money will be.
Buff explosion damage for suicide bomber to like, 500 or more so they're worth it. Maybe add upgrades so when people upgrade health, explosions can scale. Definitely should start at 500 so a $200 unit is worth the cost of bringing down another $200+ unit
Buff range of RPG from 1050 to like, 1500 or 2000. That way you could use the RPGs, attack ground in someone's base, and kill their units like that lol
Make nuke stronger. It can't even kill some units lol. There was an Area 52 unit with 800 hp and it had 200-300 hp left from a nuke that cost 8k. Not worth it.

Buff Navy by:
Adding more pirates. More pirates = more money but also like, only source of money. Navy doesn't have much of a chance of getting money or recupping losses for ships.
