Awesome, but I think the icon should be smaller, because the borders ruin awesome details at the moment.

Can't wait to see the weapon(you didn't make it yet... Right?).

Also, Enjoy, you could give it the real colors for more of an "awesome" feel. Monochromatic icons are never as pretty as ones with many colors.

No, there is no award icons for this contest, because it's not a point.

a lot of the people are still in their WiP stage. and from the start, i was told by many people that the contest seemed rather short which i admit, i agreed. This is the first and final extension. i suggest the people in WiP stage hurry up and get working and the people who have finished to polish their icon up more

going through, i have few points to make. its the same pedantic things i always have to say.

• Dont define your shape with dark/black lines
• Make sure your BG(background) is not stronger than your subject or that your unit does not blend in with the bg.
• Flat colours make icons look cartoony. Cartoony = childish = crap
• People must be able to recognise what part of the unit is displayed in the icon. Even people who never seen the unit because. really, many people dont really look at the units in detail.

although i am not a judge, those are my advice.

may i remind you that the contest icons must follow the normal icon rules that apply to the icon section. that means at least 50% freehand.
using effect tool does not count as freehand
