Zombie - Flickering Light

This bundle is marked as pending. It has not been reviewed by a staff member yet.
You see... I noticed there are barely a good zombie model around the hive, and fortunately, I just happened to crash into Mr. Goblin's pile of beautiful junk, and drove me to put the pieces altogether.
---
Infos/Changes:
  • "Zombie" model modified from vanilla.
  • "Modified Texture" used.
  • Facial structures modified to match the texture.
  • Added animations: Attack - 2, Stand Channel.
  • "Attack - 2" uses left arm for attack.
  • "Stand Channel" is mutilate corpse/cannibalize
  • Planning to add "Attack Slam" in the future, where the zombie will bite to attack.
Infos/Changes: (13/01/25)
  • Attack - 2 (small refinement for animation)
  • Model can now be influenced by game's shadow.

---
Modified Texture extracted from Mr. Goblin's Flickering Light Horror Texture Pack. Please check them out!

P.S.: Mr. Goblin already gave me his permission to use his texture.

And thats what I call zombie after uragan :cgrin:
Nice work UraganX, but you forgot to add team color, those team colored wraps could be enough.
I like this 5/5 + like from me.
Yeah thanks! About the team color... vanilla zombies doesn't have any, just the portrait, and i just used Mr. Goblin's Texture and modified it a bit so it doesn't look too hollow.

The corpse eating animation is fantastic, and the texture editing works well- except I'm not sold on the portrait, it looks too much like the open mouth painted on a moving blob, and less like a real mouth with inner dimensions.
Agree with portrait, It could use some editing like adding the two eyes or one eye hanging out from eye socket. Puking blood from mouth in new portrait animation, sounds fun. There's so many ideas actually because unit could be variative. I played project zomboid there are a lot of different zombies(actually there are crawling ones and running) in appearance.
But this? This is just some walking corpse that rotted for few months!
Stand channel is dope actually.
There is a way to change mouth animation by changing texture mapping and adding new mesh with teeth texture

If you do this, these models will appear very repetitive when they are put together in batches.

Unless, of course, we can make more faces for zombies.

But I'd rather make several different styles, such as those with missing arms and legs.

Even the skeleton got eyes.
At least some glowing eyes would do not the abomination's ones.

Hi Everyone! I've read all the comments here; suggestions and contradictions, which gave me some ideas for the next update. Will do... well some of it. That is if I'm done with 67chrome's Returned King and bakr's Generic Rifleman animation overhaul for my upcoming campaign. See ya then...

Nice one. I'll use abomination's eyes but has faded iris and pupil. How's that?

I will be adding tons of variants of this zombie soon. I don't know when but keep in touch.
