Wurst Adding generated spell to map

When creating a spell in Wurstscript, utilizing `ChannelAbilityPreset` or equivalent, how would I add this spell to the map? If I want there to be units created in the editor which I want to have this ability, how would I go about this?

From my understanding, running the build script will create a new map - though this map cannot replace the sample 'terrain' map provided. And if I did do this, wouldn't it create a new Ability each time I did this?

I could programatically add them to those units, but I'd rather not do this. I'm very new to all of this, so any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks!
