As you have heard servers will be localized meaning you should play in your zone for the best performance. But after going through alot of the open beta with servers being down. There is little to no difference on the 4 us regions. There are 40+ servers to choose from if you check out my old L2 clans site since we are moving to wow you can come play with my guild The Disciples of Shadow if you want.
