[Crash] World Editor Common Random Crash

Hi guys, i will just post a screenshot of what is shown on my screen when i am messing around with adding imported models/icons.

"Volume altered externally... no longer valid"

I have been encountering this issue a lot lately, and am not sure how to get around this.

Sounds like some other program is manipulating the map file. Possibly an anti virus program? Could also be signs of a fault hard disk that is intermittently losing IO connectivity.

Run checkdisk on the volume to rule out corruption. Look at the SMART information of the drive for any symptoms of imminent failure.
